What to expect from your class at Workroom Social
If you have an interest in fabric, like making things with your hands, and love meeting friendly, crafty people like yourself, Workroom Social is the place for you! Our teachers are professional designers and makers who love sharing their skills and knowledge with new people. All Workroom Social students can expect to leave class with...
- Knowledge, skills, tips, and tricks taught by experts in their field.
- A finished project to show friends how talented you are!
- Drinks and snacks from our favorite Brooklyn-based shops. Day-long Intensives also include locally curated lunches and a fun cocktail hour to end each day.
- Photographs of you, your fellow classmates, and the awesome projects you make.
- Productive creative time spent working and learning in a friendly, inspiring, and well equipped studio space.
- A gift bag/tool kit with some of our instructor's favorite crafty products to help students continue their creative work at home.
All of our classes include the use of studio equipment, but do not include student supplies. Supply lists are emailed to enrolled students two weeks before each class date.
Location
All classes and workshops are held at Workroom Social (96 Madison Street (Between Franklin and Bedford Avenues), 2nd Floor, Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, NY). By train, take the C to Franklin Avenue, the A to Nostrand Avenue, or the G to Bedford-Nostrand. On-street parking is easy if you are driving.
Registration
Advanced registration is required for all classes. See our Classes and Workshops page for more information and to enroll online. To register for a class, students must pay in full at the time of enrollment.
Cancelation and Refund Policy
Class fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. In the event of low enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel a class at any time. If a class is canceled, enrolled students will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the start of class and will receive a full refund.
Attendance
Classes start and end right on time. Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before class. Cleanup will begin 15 minutes before class is scheduled to end. There are no makeups for missed sessions.
